| | From the President and Secretary General Small organisations like WCPT often achieve more when they work with others. Collaboration has always been important to us, but never more so than now as our reach and ambitions grow. In the past month, WCPT has announced several new collaborations. We have new partnerships with PEDro (the Physiotherapy Evidence Database) and Physiopedia – we share similar aims and principles, so it is in our interests to promote each other and the benefits of physical therapists getting involved. We have joined with important professional campaigns such as All Trials, and continue to support a wide range of international initiatives promoting global health such as the International Day of Persons with Disabilities. (You can read more about WCPT's formal partnerships and collaborations at www.wcpt.org/node/100828 and www.wcpt.org/collaborations-activities.) These relationships do not revolve around money, but around goodwill, promotion, activities and networking. Working together creates momentum, moves us forward more quickly, avoids duplication and in the end, achieves more. Kind regards, Marilyn Moffat and Brenda J Myers If you would like to use all or part of this e-letter for your own newsletters/websites then please feel free. We need your assistance to reach the profession around the world, so please send this e-update to your members. WCPT signs up to the All Trials campaign WCPT is encouraging its member organisations and individual physical therapists to support the All Trials campaign. This international campaign is calling for all trials to be registered and published so that both positive and negative results are available, ensuring that key information and discoveries are not lost forever. www.wcpt.org/node/101263 World Physical Therapy Day There are now less than six weeks left to plan your activities to celebrate World Physical Therapy Day.
