| | From the President and Secretary General Recently a film from the first WCPT Congress held 60 years ago in London came to light. It is a poignant reminder of WCPT's heritage and the significant role the congresses have played in our evolution. As we begin 2013, the 60th anniversary of that first congress, planning for our 17th Congress to be held in Singapore in 2015 is well underway. You will shortly receive the first Congress Update including the announcement of the members of the International Scientific Committee, chaired by Aimée Stewart, and providing you with an opportunity to help shape the congress by participating in a survey. So, have a look at highlights from the congress in 1953 (www.youtube.com/user/theWCPT/), provide your ideas for 2015 by participating in our upcoming survey and then start making plans to join us in Singapore. Kind regards Marilyn Moffat and Brenda J Myers If you would like to use all or part of this e-letter for your own newsletters/websites then please feel free.
