Key sessions for congress announced |
WCPT is pleased to announce the opinion leaders and innovators in physical therapy who will present the key sessions at the WCPT Congress 2017. Seventeen focused symposia will be presented featuring over 75 prominent international speakers from across WCPT's five regions. High quality speakers have been selected, covering cutting edge topics of vital importance for the profession across a wide variety of practice and research areas and policy perspectives. Focused symposia are always a popular feature of WCPT congresses, drawing large audiences, and providing the opportunity not just to hear from world authorities, but to engage with them in discussion. |

Call for abstracts |
Have you started to prepare your abstract? With the online submission system opening next month, this is your opportunity to present on the world stage. WCPT is looking for abstracts of research or special interest reports for presentation at the largest international gathering of physical therapists. Abstract presentations are the main way of showcasing research and innovations. There were over 1,640 platform and poster presentations at the WCPT Congress 2015 in Singapore. The deadline for submissions is 31st October. If you are a first time presenter at a WCPT congress or have limited or no experience of submitting an abstract for a scientific congress please see the abstract mentoring programme. |

Abstract reviewers |
| The International Scientific Committee is recruiting potential reviewers of platform and poster abstracts submitted for possible presentation at congress. The number of abstracts sent to reviewers will depend on their area of expertise and the number of submissions received, however, it is anticipated that reviewers will receive no more than 30. The review process will begin on Monday 14th November and all reviews must be completed by Friday 2nd December 2016. |
